Artisan Carpentry

Artisan carpenters and cabinetmakers, Michael Joyeux and his team create and fabricate all types of furniture, kitchens and fit-outs. Passionate about the craft of timber and its potential applications, we pride ourselves on careful attention to detail and our perfect technical knowledge.

Furniture

As craftsmen and designers first and foremost, we conceive of and shape bespoke furniture to accommodate domestic, retail or office spaces. Due to our expertise and our broad material knowledge, these items may also be highly technical in nature.

Kitchens

We design and realise entire kitchens or individual kitchen elements such as islands, including those designed or drawn by others. We offer a range of finishes and materials including paint, timber veneer, aluminium, stainless steel, glass, natural stone, resin such as corian® or other specific textures upon request.

Fit-outs

Exhibition stands, events stands, closets, partitions, public space installations etc… we offer our vast experience and mastery of timber and its derivatives. For more unusual works our network of trusted professionals will realise specific elements for us.

The Atelier

Michaël Joyeux trained in carpentry and cabinetry in Belgium, and worked for many years acquiring a very broad range of experience. In 2006 Michaël created ‘Bois & Design’ to return to his central passions : timber and furniture creation.

Today, Michaël is surrounded by a team of highly trained craftsmen, each passionate to combine tradition and innovation. Additionally, we train apprentices in order to continue the tradition of knowledge and skill. Working alongside a network of trusted professionals, we adapt to each and every project, regardless of the size, material or location.
